So you think you’re ready for a project management certification, but you don’t have the years of experience required to take the PMP®exam? The CAPM® is a stepping stone for PMP certification. Employers (government and commercial) are looking for project managers with demonstrated credentials.
This course will prepare you to pass the CAPM exam by introducing project management theories and terms, and familiarizing you with the PMBOK® Guide. This course is designed for new project managers, or managers with minimal experience who are looking to gain a solid knowledge base of project management. This course is also ideal for those project managers who need or want a certification, but do not yet meet the experience requirements to obtain the PMP certification.
CAPM Exam Requirements
- High School Degree or the global equivalent.
- 1,500 hours of work on a project team or 23 contact hours of project management education (fulfilled by this course)
